With a squeeze of Heinz Ketchup, we gave birth to a new football tradition
Heinz is widely considered the only acceptable ketchup in Pittsburgh—the birthplace of Heinz Ketchup. So when the NFL named Heinz its first official global condiment and brought the 2026 NFL Draft to the Steel City, it was only fitting for the brand to celebrate on its home turf.
While most fans tune in for the first round and lose interest by Day 2, Heinz gave them a new reason to keep watching by transforming an overlooked pick into a moment worth celebrating.
Enter the Mr. 57 club.
Inspired by Heinz’s iconic number, every 57th pick at the NFL Draft moving forward will receive a custom Mr. 57 jacket, a lifetime supply of Heinz ketchup, and the honor of becoming that year’s Mr. 57.
On the second day of the Draft, with the 57th pick, the Chicago Bears selected Logan Jones, also making him the first official Mr. 57. The moment brought football and ketchup fans together, turning the 57th pick into a celebration of one of America’s most iconic condiments. And then something beautiful happened. When asked how he felt about his new honor, he simply replied, “Let’s Go Ketchup”. And we couldn’t agree more.
