The entire project was created 100% in-house. The design team used popping colors and pixelated gaming elements in the overall art direction, as opposed to traditionally preferred clean and pale colors in kitchenware design, because they believe cooking is just as fun as gaming and beautiful kitchenware deserves a stronger presence on our countertops. "Cook More Waimai Less" is all about wanting people to feel excited and ready to have fun whenever they think of cooking.
“Cook More Waimai Less” is a design project created by W+K Shanghai as part of the agency’s yearly tradition to gift staff and clients with a set of in-house produced swag. The idea behind the vibrant lunch kit was to help make homemade meals more enjoyable, and ultimately, to encourage people to cook more meals at home in order to cut down on plastic waste. The set includes an apron, a pair of gloves, a tea towel, a lunch box bag, a lunch box, and all necessary utensils.
