IndiGo Airlines is based on a "no-frills chic" philosophy. A philosophy that says a cheap fare shouldn’t translate into a mediocre flying experience. Even before the airline was launched, our creative director was sitting at the Airbus factory in Toulouse (France), calling the shots on interior design of the IndiGo aircraft. Legend has it that he even tried to put windows in the bathrooms and almost succeeded. Ever since then, we’ve designed and perfected every IndiGo experience to detail. Our creative duties go beyond just advertising and extend to food tasting, packaging design, merchandise design, on-board entertainment, etc. As a result, in just three years of operations, IndiGo has become India’s number one low-frills airline with 80 percent repeat travelers.
