Commitment, A Collection
January 01, 2018
We partnered with designers Virgil Abloh, Shayne Oliver, stylist Mel Ottenberg, and so many others, to create seven one-of-a-kind items made from actual commitment.

The Scrubs Sweatsuit. Leisurewear crafted from elastic, nylon and the surgical scrubs of dedicated oncologists like those at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, who, patient by patient, are unrelenting soldiers in the war on cancer.

Stonewall Stilettos. Constructed of rubber, cotton and black sparkle vinyl hand-ripped from the benches of the Stonewall Inn, the spark that ignited the modern LGBTQA movement

The Truth Lipstick. Made from iron oxides, ricinus communis oil, beeswax, and the Washington Post paper.

Eau de Blood, Sweat & Tears. A one-of-a-kind fragrance infused with water, ethyl alcohol and the DNA of Kathrine Switzer, the defiant first female to run the once all-male Boston Marathon.

The Law Suit. Stitched from fabric mesh, adhesive, polyethylene and the legal filings of James Thornton’s ClientEarth, legal counsel to the environment.

The Shades of Humanity custom sunglasses. Engineered from chrome and the camera lens of street archivist and humanitarian Ruddy Roye.

The Real Camo Jacket. Created from rope, boot leather, a serviceman’s metal buckle, velcro patches and the service uniforms of veterans from The Heroes Project: Charlie Linville, Brad Ivanchan, Carlos Torres and Kionte Storey.
