The campaign for the new Chrysler 300 features aspirational stories of people who possess a capacity for hard work.
In a spot titled, “Homecoming,” pro football player Ndamukong Suh proudly drives through his rainy hometown of Portland, Ore. in his new Chrysler 300, retracing his humble beginnings. As he drives, we see brief glimpses of his childhood room with pictures and a collection of sports trophies from his youth. As Suh pulls up to his parent’s home, his mother emerges from the house and greets him with a hug and a kiss.
In “Attitude,” Detroit-born designer John Varvatos seeks inspiration at a record store in Brooklyn, New York—his musical choices showing how Detroit R&B, soul and rock ’n’ roll influenced him as an artist. As he drives away from the record store in his Chrysler 300, we see him passing late-night clubs and people in the street. Varvatos arrives at his studio, and, while the rest of the city winds down, he puts on a record and settles in for a night of work.
