Thank you so much for featuring Dorsey High School in this awesome piece. My name is Cassandra and I am a Dorsey Alumni Varsity Cheerleader Class of 81' . I organized the alumni cheerleaders form 76' to 81' to come back to Homecoming and cheer at the football game! We are 47-52 yrs old ( and yes we can still bring it !) We were featured on NBC, with featured reporter Cary Berglund. The Homecoming game was very special to me because one of our cheerleaders , Gretchen Wilson-Hudson is suffering from parkinsons disease, but Gretchen did not let that stop her , she persevered and it was one of the most beautiful moments in my life. Our Homecoming game was Oct. 21, and this video followed 2 weeks later ! Talk about timing !! I love Dorsey High, and I have been rocking Nike since I was 14 !!. We cheered in the boy's basketball gymnasium, in which we call " The Pit " Great memories were shared on that very court and you captured it beautifully. The bus ride....., and The shot at the end, with the light shining from the Heavens..........., Price-less. I sent everyone on my Facebook page a copy of this video and they went crazy!! . We are so Proud.
