LEGO brought together four icons of the game—Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinicius Jr.—as collectible minifigures, turning some of the game’s most recognisable figures into buildable icons. </p>\n<p>We then gave young fans something they could play with: a character-led, narrative driven film made to be reinterpreted and remixed entirely on their own terms. Each superstar’s distinct personality and POV expressed through subtle physical performance and facial reactions rather than dialogue—transforming the LEGO trophy from a mere prop into a contested stage. In the end, classic football rivalry was reimagined through play: lighter, more human, and built to be shared. </p>\n<p>What followed was an explosion of participation, as content spread, evolved, and multiplied across platforms at speed. The campaign quickly became more than a film; it became a format anyone could recreate and make their own.</p>\n<p>In doing so, it transformed into a cultural phenomenon and the first truly AI-memed ad, breaking out of its category and spilling beyond football into other passions and conversations.
