Mr. Wolfdog
March 23, 2013
Hired to support the launch of Old Spice Wild Collection, Mr. Wolfdog had a brief, but memorable week of employment as Old Spice's Chief Director of Marketing. From releasing a series of "how to succeed in life videos" and conducting live business Webinars, to searching for a personal assistant via Google+ Hangouts, to playing Xbox Live with fans and providing negotiating tips to NFL free agents, there wasn't anything Director Wolfdog couldn't handle. He even released an album of inspirational business music and posted a toll-free number (866-695-2407) for people to call who needed to look busy at work. Marketing achieved.

Beyond Brilliant! Mr. Wolfdog is iconic and probably too good to spend too much time at any one brand or endeavor...not that he isn't a loyal pup, but he is after all, all about himself. I love this character, and I am not in the exact target demographic...female, single, age 55. It would be interesting to get Scott Adam's opinion and advice...since I see a lot of Dilbert parallels and possibilities. I hope you keep Wolfie employed, cuz he likes his meat-n-stuff...and he may have to advertise antidepressants if he loses all his stuff. Who is/are the geniuses that wrote his stuff? Who is the comedian voice of Mr. Wolfdog?
